hiv-1903372_640.jpeg

Infection with the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) requires the infusion of STEM CELLS into a patient with acute myeloid leukemia and HIV-1 infection. The results show no viral rebound 20 months after transplantation and discontinuation of antiretroviral therapy. Results demonstrate the critical role STEM CELL REGENERATIVE MEDICINE plays in HIV-1 infection.

Results are proving viral replication remained absent despite discontinuation of antiretroviral therapy after transplantation with STEM CELLS demonstratING successful reconstitution of CD4+ T cells, and more.
